Shipping policy

 

Holiday Office and Warehouse Closure 

We are running an annual audit of our warehouse inventory from December 27th until January 11th. Due to this and surrounding holidays, parcel orders placed after December 21st may not ship until January 11th or later. We apologize for any inconvenience.

During the holidays both the Audo office and our warehouse will be closed during certain periods. Please expect delays on orders placed on or around these dates.

  • Thanksgiving: Nov 23-26
  • Christmas: Dec. 22-26
  • New Year & Inventory Count: Dec. 27th - Jan. 11th

Our made-to-order production sites in Europe and North America will also be having closures between December 21st and January 5th causing delayed production and delivery during these times.   

We appreciate your patience during these times so our employees and partners have time to enjoy the holidays with their families. 


Holiday Shipping Guidelines

To receive your order before Christmas, please note the following deadlines and shipping types:

Small Parcel (In-Stock Accessories and Smaller Lighting Pieces)

  • Standard Shipping — Place order on or before Dec. 13th
  • 2-Day Shipping — Place order on Dec. 14th and Dec. 15th
  • After Dec. 15 — May not arrive by Christmas.

Large Bulky Items (In-Stock Furniture and Large Lighting)

Orders Placed on or before Dec. 4th can arrive by Christmas

Please note any back-order dates, pre-order dates, and lead times when placing your orders. Dates above are not valid on back-ordered or made-to-order products.

Free Ground Shipping in the United States

We offer free ground shipping on orders with a subtotal value of $100 or higher, within the contiguous United States. The free ground shipping offer only applies to the shipping cost, and is only valid with a shipping method of FedEx Ground or FedEx Ground Home Delivery, to an address in the contiguous United States.


U.S. Shipping Information

Orders to U.S. addresses are shipped via FedEx or UPS. Orders to USA territories ship via USPS. Please allow for up to 3 additional business days for processing and shipping*. Once your order ships out, it should arrive within the below number of business days depending on the shipment method you selected during checkout.

FedEx and UPS do not deliver to PO Boxes. You will not be able to place an order to PO Boxes at this time.

*Order processing may be delayed due to office closure on weekends and all major US holidays.

FedEx Ground - 3-7 days*
FedEx 2 Day - 2 days*
FedEx Standard Overnight - 1 day*

*Our warehouse is located in Wisconsin. Ground shipments usually arrive faster for closer addresses. Please keep in mind that shipping entails many variables. Your package may be delayed for unpredictable or uncontrollable reasons, i.e. high-volume seasonal shipping, unexpected problems during transit, etc.

We reserve the right to alter the shipping method and carrier in order to protect the shipment against damage (especially for furniture orders), up to and including shipping the item(s) as freight. We will do our best to keep you informed of any changes in shipping. Please see our Furniture & White Glove Shipping policy at the bottom of this page for more information. Furniture deliveries are CURBSIDE ONLY by default. FedEx delivers curbside only by default. Only White Glove shipping guarantees in-room delivery.

If you are trying to order a bulky item (tables, sofas, etc.) to States or Territories outside the contiguous USA (HI, AK, etc.), please contact us directly so we can give you a shipping quote and arrange the order with you.

 

Canada Shipping Information

Orders to Canadian addresses are shipped via FedEx or DHL. Please allow for up to 3 additional business days for processing and shipping.* Once your order ships out, it should arrive within the below number of business days depending on the shipment method you selected during checkout. Please note that we are not responsible for any delays or additional charges due to customs processing.

FedEx and DHL do not deliver to PO Boxes. You will not be able to place an order to Canada, if the shipping address is a PO Box.

FedEx Ground International - 10 days

Orders shipped to Canada via FedEx Ground International use the following price structure. Canadian orders up to $500.00 have a flat shipping fee of $50.00. Canadian orders over $500.00 have flat shipping rates of up to 10%.

DHL International Express - 3 days

Express orders shipped to Canada via DHL International Express will include an additional $250 processing fee added to the rates from  DHL.

Unfortunately, there are some bulky items (tables, sofas, etc.) that we cannot ship to individual consumers in Canada.

 

Pre- and Back-orders

We allow ordering for items that are currently out of stock, but that are expected to become available at a future date. Please note: we charge you immediately for pre- and back-ordered items, regardless of when the items will ship. We strive to provide the most accurate estimated arrival dates for pre- and back-ordered items where available. However, fulfillment of pre- and back-orders can be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances (delays from the shipping carrier, natural disasters, etc.). We will do our best to keep you informed of any delays to your order.

 

Shipping Cost

Your shipping cost is dependent on several factors. We calculate your shipping cost primarily from item weight and shipping method chosen. Canadian and Latin American orders may incur additional import taxes/fees. Audo Copenhagen U.S. is not responsible for any duties, taxes or handling fees required at the time of delivery.

 

Furniture & White Glove Shipping

Most of our furniture has special shipping considerations due to the bulk of the items, protective packaging, and shipping materials. You should expect bulky furniture deliveries to involve breaking down protective shipping materials, and assembly of the product. Our standard shipping includes curb-side delivery ONLY, and does NOT include delivery to a room of choice, packaging removal, or assembly.

Please not our Large Plinths, Plinth, Low, have a required White Glove delivery because of the weight of the product.

White glove service is available at an additional cost, for orders to the contiguous United States, for orders of our bulky products. Select white glove shipping during checkout. Please note if white glove is selected at checkout it is not refundable. White Glove Delivery methods will be assigned to your delivery when selected and cannot be retroactively changed.

  • $249 - White Glove - Room of Choice + Packaging Removal + Assembly of Product
